Q: do we get all the images?

A: Yep! I deliver all the best photos from the day! I take the time to go through each and every photo taken that day, and make sure to get rid of any unflattering poses, closed eyes, and blurry photos; pretty much all the ones you wouldn’t want. This generally yields about 50 photos per hour, but often more!

Q: Do we get the RAW photos?

A: I do not deliver RAW, or unedited photos. The unedited version of the photos I take are not considered a finished product. I am hired based on my style, which I hope clients will trust I will deliver upon booking.

Q: Is travel included?

A: Travel is included for all local weddings within a two hour radius of Reno, NV. Weddings outside of this range will require a travel fee of $45 per hour of driving to location + lodging expenses. For weddings that require flying, I do ask that my flight & lodging are covered. These prices are determined on a case by case basis!

Q: We have no idea what to do in front of the camera, will you pose us?

YES, but NO. I don’t really pose as much as I direct. Over the years, I’ve found that the best photos come from actual emotions, not posed ones. Basically I’ll give you some prompts, tell you to get all cuddly and close, and make you laugh by saying super funny stuff. I always call myself the third wheel on your wedding, because simply, I am. As the photographer, you spend a majority of the day with me by your side, capturing allll the moments. Because of that my best advice is to just take each other in, and enjoy yourselves, & I'll do my thing!

Q: Do you go by a timeline?

A: Yes! I am pretty go with the flow photographer, as I know weddings do not always go as planned or on schedule, but during our consultation we sit down and create a general timeline that will insure you have plenty of time to enjoy your day and get the photos of your dreams! Already have a timeline created? Even better, I will make sure to try and follow it as closely as I can!

Q: Our day cannot be recreated, how do we insure the photos will be safe?

A: Your photos from your day are very important to me. I understand that technology  & equipment are not always the most trustworthy or stable; this is why I always take extra precautions to insure your photos will be safe & delivered to you! I do this by shooting with two cameras on your wedding day, using dual memory cards, so there is always an extra copy of your photo being made before I even take it off my camera. After the day is over, I immediately back up the photos both on an external hard drive as well as to the cloud -- just in case one of those platforms decides to fail!

Q: Do you photoshop us?

A: While I do apply edits to change the overall color and style of the image, I am a big believer in a photo representing the real, authentic version of someone. I do minor touch ups, such as very obvious blemishes, or distractions. I do not do body alterations or liquefaction – my general rule of thumb is, if it will be gone in two weeks, I will take care of it, otherwise I like to portray people as they are!  

Q: Do I have to order prints through you?

A: I highly recommend ordering prints through my professional vendors, but it is not required. The difference in quality is HUGE when it comes to ordering through a store printer and a professional lab, so I encourage clients to let me help with prints!

That’s it, take my money already. We want to book you, but how?

Sweet! All you gotta do, once we confirm your wedding date, we meet up over coffee and talk details. From there I briefly go over the contract with you, and at the end of the meeting email it to you. At the time of signing the contract, I do require a $300 retainer. This retainer insures I will not book your date for anyone besides you, and also secures the contract! From there, I am all yours!
