Sunny November Wedding at Rancho San Rafeal

Some things are just meant to be. Planning a wedding in November, means that you never know how the weather is going to decide to be that day -- especially in Reno, Nevada. Up until the day of Richie & Gladiss' wedding, reports called for rain, clouds and lots and lots of wind. As I drove to their ceremony site, I kept seeing the sun poke through the clouds covering the sky. I hoped that maybe, just maybe the sun would decide to make an appearance, if only for a few minutes.

Sure enough, by the time we made our way to the reception and portrait location, the sun overpowered the clouds and provided just enough light to make for some of the best lighting I could have asked for, for portraits. Add the beautiful lighting to an even more beautiful couple and we had the recipe for some amazing photos. Upon returning to the reception, everyone was invited to dance and party; and when I say dance, I don't mean just dance, I mean move your body until you can't move it anymore (see photos for hilarious proof). From what was scheduled to be a cold and dreary day, turned out to be an unforgettable wedding.
